DR. BRIAN USHER...

Dr. Usher is a senior management executive with a long record of success helping organizations drive business strategy through objective assessment-based talent management and leadership development systems and services.

He is an accomplished industrial/organizational psychologist and management consultant with 25+ years of leadership experience in private and public sector organizations. He is a leading Canadian expert on the use of objective assessment technology for selecting, developing and retaining the leadership and management talent required to successfully implement business strategy. Some of his recent notable clients have included the United Nations and NAV CANADA (Air Traffic Control).

Brian has consulted and advised over 600 senior leaders, CEOs and entrepreneurs of Fortune 1000 companies and small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and is well versed in the challenges of start-up operations; leadership issues related to creating sustainable businesses and market growth; succession planning; and publicly traded enterprises.

For over 14 years he successfully managed the start-up and growth of the Canadian division of an international, publicly traded management consulting group and served as Vice-President of Marketing for the North American Region of the firm. In 2003 he sold his interest in the business to pursue his passion for business building activities with entrepreneurs of small and medium sized Canadian business enterprises (SMEs).

Brian received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto; his M.A. from York University; and his B.A. (Hon.) from the University of Waterloo.
